25-Year Anniversary with SCANTOOL A/S

Scantool A/S was established in 1980. Per arrived to the company just four to five years later and has remained with the Scantool Group throughout its entire development.

He was initially hired for machine assembly and participated in transferring the production of small belt sanders and a larger industrial wet sander to the facilities on Øland. During the first few years, Per was the only manufacturing employee. As the years went by, however, more employees were added and Per became in charge of the employees, manufacturing, and the warehouse. Later, Per also contributed with purchasing of parts for manufacturing.

In 1995 Scantool expanded by adding a new large production warehouse on Industrivej in Brovst. In connection with this expansion, Per moved from Øland to Brovst and received the title of warehouse manager in charge of the general warehouse on Øland and in Brovst. On a continuous basis, Per later took over purchasing of parts for manufacturing, and for a period he also had the title of production manager for KEF-MOTOR A/S.

In 2007 Per was transferred to the sales department on Øland to especially service our customers with accessories and spare parts. With his many years of warehouse and purchasing experience, over the years Per has contributed to a high service level for our customers.

In the autumn of 2009, Per became part of a new purchasing group that handles all purchasing of all machinery, accessories, and spare parts for all of the Scantool Group's four sales companies. Thus, today Per is part of both the sales and the purchasing team in the Scantool Group.

Per Lynge will be celebrating his 25th anniversary on Friday, February 19, 2010, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM in the cafeteria at Industrivej 3-9 in Brovst for family, friends, and business associates.
